Swipoo - Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 2025-8-26

Swipoo Team believes your privacy isn’t just a policy—it’s a promise. When you use the Swipoo App (“the App”), we handle your information with care, and this document explains exactly how we do that. By opening, using, or interacting with the App in any way, you’re letting us know you’ve read, understood, and agreed to how we manage your data.

Let’s Start with What We Collect

We only gather information that helps us make the App better for you—and we split it into two clear types:

1. Info That Identifies You (Personal Data)

This is the details you choose to share with us when you engage with the App. For example:

· The name you use to set up your account

· The email address you provide to log in or get support

· Your date of birth (if you share it during account creation)

· A profile photo (if you decide to upload one)

· Any other details you send us directly—like messages to our support team or feedback about the App

2. Info That Doesn’t Identify You (Non-Personal Data)

We automatically collect this data to understand how the App is used (no names or emails here). It includes:

· Details about your device: What kind of phone/tablet you use, which operating system it runs, and which browser you rely on

· How you use the App: Which features you tap, logs of your activity, and reports if the App crashes unexpectedly

· Your IP address, plus basic location data we get from that IP address (like your country or region)

What We Do with the Information We Have

Every bit of data we collect has a specific purpose—none of it is used “just because.” Here’s how we put it to work:

· Make the App work (and work better): We use your data to run the App’s core features, tweak things to match your preferences (like saving your favorite settings), and fix bugs or add new tools you might like.

· Keep you in the loop: We send updates about your account (e.g., “Your password was reset”) and important App news (e.g., “We’re updating our service hours”). We only send promotional messages if you’ve said “yes” to them first.

· Help you when you need it: If you have a question or a problem, your data lets us respond faster—like pulling up your account details to fix a login issue.

· Learn what works (and what doesn’t): We look at usage patterns to see which features are popular, which ones need improvement, and how we can make the App more user-friendly.

· Keep things safe and legal: We use data to spot fake accounts or fraud, make sure our security rules hold up, and follow the laws that apply to our business.

About Your Photos & Facial Data

The photographs you upload are managed with great care:

· No facial recognition: We do not collect or utilize biometric data, such as facial scans. There is no analysis of faces, verification of identities, or extraction of facial features.

· Exclusively for creative purposes: Your photos are employed solely to implement style modifications through artificial intelligence—consider it a playful visual tool. Personal identification is not involved in this process.

· Stored on your device: Both original and edited images reside on your phone or tablet within the History" section. They will be permanently deleted once you remove them. Any temporary data generated during processing is eliminated immediately after the AI completes its task—no additional steps are required.

When We Might Share Your Data (Spoiler: Rarely)

We never sell or rent your personal data to anyone—that’s non-negotiable. But there are a few cases where we might share it, and we’ll always be transparent about them:

· With people who help us run the App: We work with trusted third parties (like companies that host the App on servers or provide analytics tools) to keep things running. These partners have to sign agreements saying they’ll protect your data and only use it to help us.

· If the law asks for it: If a court, government agency, or legal process requires us to share your data, we’ll do so—but only to the extent we have to by law.

· If our business changes hands: If we merge with another company, get acquired, or sell parts of our business, your data might be part of that transfer. The new team will have to follow this same privacy promise.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We don’t hang onto your information longer than we need to. We keep personal data only until we’ve met the reason we collected it—like helping you with a support ticket or running your account. If you delete your account or stop using the App, we might keep a small amount of data: either because the law says we have to (like keeping records for tax purposes) or to prevent future fraud (like blocking a fake account).

Your Choices: You’re in Control

You have full say over your data—and here’s how to exercise that control:

· Ask for a copy of the personal data we store about you.

· Update or fix any wrong information (like a misspelled name) by going into your account settings in the App.

· Request to delete your entire account or specific parts of your personal data. Note: We might can’t delete everything if the law requires us to keep it.

· Stop getting promotional emails anytime: Just click the “unsubscribe” link in the email, or send us a message asking to be removed from our promo lists.

To do any of these, just reach out using the contact info at the end of this document.

How We Keep Your Data Safe

We take security seriously—but we’re honest: no system is 100% foolproof. Here’s what we do to protect your info:

· We use encryption for sensitive data (like your email address).

· We limit who on our team can access your personal data (only people who need it for their jobs).

· We run regular checks to spot and fix security gaps.

While we work hard to keep your data safe, we can’t guarantee absolute protection—so we always recommend you use strong passwords and keep your device secure too.

The App Isn’t for Kids Under 17

Swipoo is designed for users 17 and older. We don’t intentionally collect personal data from anyone under 17. If we find out we accidentally collected data from a kid under 17, we’ll delete that info right away. If you think we have data from a minor, please let us know (details below).

Your Data Might Travel Internationally

Your information could be stored or processed in countries outside where you live. By using the App, you agree to let us transfer your data to these countries—even if their privacy laws are different from yours. We always make sure these transfers follow global data protection rules.

This Document Might Change (Here’s How We’ll Tell You)

We may update this privacy policy if laws change, or if we add new App features that affect how we use data. When we do, we’ll post the new version in the App and update the “Updated as of” date at the top. We suggest checking back every few months to stay in the know.
